Chateau Libertas

There never has been a fixed formula in making Chateau Libertas. It’s about getting the balance right for a beautifully integrated combination of ripe berry fruit, elegant wooding and a food-friendly refreshment. A beautiful, lively ruby red colour with a bouquet filled with loads of ripe strawberry and plum with a hint of fragrant wood spice. The taste is medium-bodied with juicy berry and plum flavours, a touch of oak and smooth but gripping tannins.

Grapes were sourced from premier vineyards across the Cape, mostly from Stellenbosch, but also from Malmesbury and Darling.
